About me…
Live from the stage/my workspace
Bradley Christensen
I grew up in Southlake, Texas, where I began my diving career at the age of 9. Diving took me across the world to England, South Korea, Germany, and Canada, and gave me the opportunity to represent the United States on the world stage. After a successful junior career, I found myself at Stanford University, where I majored in Product Design with a concentration in Computer Science.
After graduation, I returned home to Texas to pursue my Olympic dream at SMU. SMU’s head coach, Darian Schmidt, was kind enough to train me and allow me to utilize some of SMU’s resources to help me achieve that goal. During that year, I learned to push myself more than I ever did in my past athletic career, utilizing sports psychology, meditation, and sleep monitoring to help me gain an edge.
Unfortunately, a number of hurdles (pun very much intended) prevented me from achieving my goal, so I have turned to my growing passion of software design. Something about the structure of software excites me, so I intend to pursue either a career or further education in Computer Science or game design.
